Stephen Francis Barker (born 1927) is an American philosopher and Professor of Philosophy Emeritus at Johns Hopkins University.
Barker received his B.A. from Swarthmore and Ph.D. from Harvard University. He served as a visiting professor at Harvard and taught at the University of Virginia and Ohio State University before coming to Hopkins. He taught in the areas of the history of modern philosophy, the theory of knowledge, and applied ethics.
